Event Poll Feature
Apr 8, 2022
Problem
Employee experience managers, HR professionals and people managers come to Wavy because they need to book an event, but seldom do they know what’s going to work for their team.
This results in tab fatigue and a never ending loop of googling “remote team building events”. Sales’ hands-on approach to helping employee experience managers decide on an event for their team through demo calls, custom made surveys, email outreach and more ad-hock tactics left our deals moving at a glacial pace.
How might we…
make it easier for managers to find out what their team wants to do so that they can plan better events?
make our marketplace a useful tool so that it doesn’t get lost in the tabs?
translate employee insights into action?
Solution
We decided to create a feature that would not only let users save experiences to collections so that its easier to plan an event, but also poll their team to help them decide. I lead this project in my role as a Senior Product Designer. I wrote the project doc based on research and input from our sales & customer success team members. We tested during the design phase with Pro customers and advisors.
